A WORD ABOUT INSPIRATION
Another poncho and once again you can trust Monika to come up with another absolutely stunning feature. This time, it is the 7 metre long bottom hem. Just imagine how gorgeous that will look when it catches the wind – contrasted with the snug fit of the top, which creates a smashingly feminine hourglass silhouette. The hem is retractable, so you can create multiple shapes depending on what exactly you need the poncho to do at that very moment. Pull it up under the waist for when you’re on your bike or retract it at shin level to protect against the wind and a few drops of rain here and there.
A WORD ABOUT FABRICS
A breathable, water repellent fabric intended for light cover when a few droplets start falling from the sky and the wind picks up.
LOOKING CLOSELY AT THE DETAILS
HOURGLASS SHAPE – cut into a very feminine hourglass shape to create a beautiful silhouette
ZIPPER – the poncho is closable with a zipper and snap fasteners that go right up to the chin
DETACHABLE HOOD – when attached to the jacket, the hood can be worn to protect the face and neck in windy weather
SLEEVE STRAPS – can also be tightened to add extra protection against the persistent wind and rain
POCKETS – you will find two small chest pockets that are closable with snap fasteners as well as two seam pockets at waist level
RETRACTABLE HEM – the bottom hem of the poncho is an astonishing 7 metres long and retractable with an in-built drawstring and snap fastener (once you’ve retracted the hem, simply insert the revealed drawstring into the two tiny pockets sewn in precisely for that purpose). When retracted into an elaborate balloon-shape, you are not only protected from the wind by the sheer amount of fabric, but lovely shapes and forms are also created when the various folds of the fabric catch the wind
